Since the foundation of the nation, there was a rapid urbanization in the East Coast of America so that it could accept an increasing number of immigrants. Building roads, throwing bridges, expanding railroads and constructing skyscrapers — all these were the very processes of creating America, and urban laborers were the main force of the nation-building. “The Union Special Overalls” is the brand inspired by the workwear that urban laborers wore. It uses various materials such as denim, cotton duck, wool fabrics and Stifel's indigo cloth, which colorfully decorated the era that could be called the predawn of workwear. It also describes the evolution of workwear. It had literally existed along with the development of America.
