FALL & WINTER 2011-2012 - into THE OLD GROWTH FOREST

Have you ever seen photographs by Darius Kinsey? What printed are magnificent “Old Growth Forest expanding along the Cascade Range in the northwest of North America around 1900, and men going deep into the bosoms of the forests to cut down trees. They are dressed in the forestry workwear. It is completely different from that for leisure. In the clothing, there exists masculinity, which can be called sexual charm. It is the mixture of durability supporting the pioneers' do-or-die labors and spontaneous dandyism unique to lumberjacks. In the 2011-2012 fall-winter collection, we focused on the “men challenging Old Growth Forest from the 1910s to the 30s in the Kinsey's photos. Here we release “Great Lakes items using our original materials including heavyweight woolen fabrics, blankets and cotton corduroy. We propose the outdoor workwear for winter, which remains the flavor of tailored outfits. We hope you enjoy the work clothing in some rough ways of styling such as using suspenders and boots.
