MID SUMMER 2012 - LOGGING RAILROAD WORKERS in SUMMER 2012

In our last summer collection, we introduced imaginary clothing for both outdoorsmen and railroad workers from 1910s to 20s. They had short sleeves or cropped trousers, which had never existed in real American history. As a result, they succeeded in containing a highly concentrated atmosphere of workwear from about 100 years ago into recent men's summer fashion. By using a similar method, FREEWHEELERS extends the series “Logging Railroad introduced in the last spring to the summer collection. We try to create a fresh style like a chemical reaction through adding cropped-length to elaborately detailed breaches and changing the material of work trousers into lighter linen cloth. Additionally we release half sleeve shirts made of dark-toned silky Dobby cloth, which has a wild and sexy aura while remaining details of tailored clothing in the late 19th century. It brings you an image of a cool and snobbish guy seen in old gangster movies.

MID SUMMER 2012 - ADVERTISEMENT OF AMERICA and OLD CORPORATE LOGO

FREEWHEELERS has been releasing series “ADVERTISEMENT OF AMERICA mainly in the season of summer. In this collection, we introduce four types of the motif “Automotive Profession, lasting from spring in 2011. We also launch a new series named “OLD CORPORATE LOGO featured by classical marks from 1910s to 20s. They are solidly printed on the thick and heavy cotton with few decors around the logos. As you know they are the typical style usually seen on novelty T-shirts and so-called staff T-shirts since the 1950s. We, as an existence of thoroughly seeing the whole American subculture, express what we are by means of printing corporate logos in the age when the printed-T-shirts were not born yet. In this series, we also spread out the similar motif over not only T-shirts but also half sleeve work shirts. We hope you enjoy our new exquisite lineup including refined materials, which can be done by only FREEWHEELERS.
